Year 6 children participated in an immersive evacuation experience, expertly organised by their teachers. This wonderful opportunity allowed them to step into the shoes of evacuees, deepening their understanding of the historical context. The experience will greatly support their learning as they prepare to write their evacuation letters, providing them with rich, first-hand insights to bring their writing to life.
