Children’s Mental Health Week

Children’s Mental Health Week will take place from 5th to 11th February 2024. This year’s theme is ‘My Voice Matters’. My Voice Matters means to empower children and young people with the tools they need to express themselves. As a result, this has a positive impact on their wellbeing.

During this week, children will have the opportunity to complete an early morning activity such as writing a letter of gratitude or reflecting on proud moments at school and at home. In addition, time will be set aside for a class assembly where they will discuss the importance of having good mental health and explore the question ‘What makes me special?’

Our children have decided that they would like another ‘well-being’ afternoon. On Friday 9th February 2024, from 2pm to 3 pm, children will choose the class they wish to spend their ‘well-being hour’ and engage in a selected activity such as ‘watch a movie’, ‘play board games’, ‘participate in a TTRS tournament’, ‘justdance’ and ‘create a treasure map’.
