Holly’s class assembly showcased a range of work across the curriculum.To the song ‘We will rock you!’, Holly Class sang their way through The Stone Age which was the central theme running through Writing, History and Science. Children spoke about their Writing Immersion Day and their carousel activities. They proudly showed working photographs and their DT clay houses which were on display as well as their cave paintings.
In addition, children discussed the skills they have developed in History using secondary resources and in Science with experiments around rocks, permeability and durability. They even discussed Computing and the animation skills they have learned this term as well as swimming which they have enjoyed.
PSHE was pulled into the Stone Age with a short drama clip! All in all, it was an enjoyable assembly with bongos, singing, drama and plenty of smiling faces!
