Each year the school takes part in the NSPCC Number day event by using fun curriculum-based maths challenges as part of our maths lessons; all classes in every year group take part and children Dress up for Digits; they wear an item of clothing with a number on it (football shirt, cap, netball shirt or even a onesie!)
This year we used the story book ‘365 Penguins’ as a stimulus to explore mathematical concepts like factorization and Pascal’s Pyramid in a fun, interactive and practical way.
