Summer Reading Challenge 2024

This term, we are taking part in the national reading programme – the Summer Reading Challenge. Class visits have been booked and all children will have the opportunity to visit East Ham library and participate in the challenge.

During their visits, they will learn more about the challenge, select their first book and receive a folder where they will record the names of books they have been reading and collect their rewards for reading (stickers).

Year 6 classes – Ash and Beech – have been to the library and children are excited to be part of the FUN – immerse themselves in a world of books!

We look forward to parent volunteers to accompany classes on these visits.

Thank you parents and carers for your support.
