As part of Year 4 RE lessons this term, children were given the opportunity to visit Pilgrims Way church and learn how Christians celebrate Easter. They participated in several activities including drama, where children acted out the scenes of the Easter Bible narrative and worked in small groups to create their own natural 3D Easter Garden scene with signs of ‘new life’. Overall, it was an amazing experience for the children, who have a better understanding of the meaning of Easter.
