On Friday 18th November, we celebrated Children in Need at Lathom. Children and staff all made an effort to dress in spots and or yellow for this important day. Everybody also donated £1 towards this wonderful charity of the BBC, which raises money for disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. They aim at giving every child the chance to reach their full potential in life.
Year 6 students also enjoyed a creative session where they wrote a sentence inside a bear and then designed the bear to reflect their personality. Their amazing creations were displayed in the reception area on Children in Need Day.
We were also lucky to have a visitor – Pudsey bear – at our school.
