There was a lovely, festive atmosphere at Lathom’s Christmas Fayre on Friday 15th December 2023. It was an opportunity for children along with their parents or carers to visit a variety of stalls, have a go at games such as tombola, participate in art activities and enjoy delicious treats.
Adding to the festivities, each class had the opportunity to visit Santa’s grotto this Christmas. Children were encouraged to share their excitement and wishes with Santa before receiving a special gift – a bag of gold, chocolate coins. There was also the option to have their photograph taken with Santa.
This year’s fayre was a huge success: a ‘whopping’ £3000 was raised for the school! A big thank you to Mrs Wenborne and the PTA for organising the Christmas fayre. Thank you to the Year 6 team, children and all the volunteers, who helped to organise stalls for this spectacular event.
Well done to Mrs Pillay for setting up Santa’s grotto and to Billy for being a fabulous ‘Santa’. Parents and carers, thank you for donating items and also for showing support at this event.
