On Tuesday 6th June, a ‘Faith in Schools’ workshop was held in Year 6 classes. Children discussed what makes a good religious leader in Newham. Then, they suggested reasons for shared qualities and duties between different leaders.
By the end of the session, they were able to give a detailed account of what makes a successful leader in Newham. During this time, they were given opportunities to develop their critical thinking skills and work collaboratively in their groups.
Thank you Yvonne and team for providing an excellent introduction to religious leaders for our children.
