Year 6 children took part in the Tate & Lyle Junior Citizens Programme, which is run by the Police Youth Engagement Team. It was a fantastic opportunity for Year 6 children to explore ways in which to keep themselves safe. It was an event sponsored by Tate & Lyle and supported by the Metropolitan Police, the London Fire Brigade, Transport for London and many others. Children attended a range of sessions learning about gangs, social media, water and TfL safety to drugs and fire safety.
