Year 4 students had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Conway-Long, who is a volunteer at a charitable organisation called “Noah’s Ark Community Hub.
This hub is run by the Christian community and offers a continuous food service to the less fortunate residents of the area.
Ms. Conway-Long’s presentation focused on how the church helps the neighbourhood by offering services and low-cost food supplies that help people fight hunger and poverty. Other initiatives included an elderly-focused knitting club and an allotment where individuals grew fresh produce for the food-bank.
