On Wednesday 28th June, a group of years 5 and 6 students (majority were from Year 6) left Lathom Junior School for a two day residential at Stubbers. Children engaged in a wide range of activities including raft building, pioneering, climbing, bush craft, laser combat, archery and orienteering.
These outdoor learning activities enriched learning, presenting tactile, sensory experiences and discovery opportunities that are impossible to recreate in the classroom.
Students enjoyed this camping experience as it was a perfect time to bond with their friends, especially Year 6 students, who will be transitioning to Year 7. Thank you to the team who accompanied the children and worked hard to make this visit a success for them.
