During World Book Day, we read the picture book: The Lost Thing by Shaun Tan and watched the award winning animation of the story.
Our challenge for the day was to make our own versions of The Lost Thing out of recycled packaging. As part of the whole school celebrations, we re-enacted a scene from the book. Beech Class chose to sing the song: Take me Home, Country Roads to help recreate the atmosphere within the text when the Lost Thing is wandering the streets aimlessly.
