September’s writing has been a whirlwind of creativity, exciting adventures – including excavating poisonous tombs – and a lot of hard work from our Year Five classes.
The students have been preparing and exploring personal recounts, alongside investigating complex sentences, the many different realms of conjunctions and of course, perfecting our descriptive writing and showing the Year Five teachers the wonderful skills that the students have curated.
Birch class children represented key events using freeze frames.
Students became archaeologists and used their descriptive language to report back to their group what artefacts they had discovered.
The Year five team are very excited to read their personal recounts from the perspective of Professor Hanawati (Ancient Egypt expert) that the students will begin next week.
