Year 3 students were very lucky to have the opportunity to visit a synagogue this week as part of our learning in RE. Children were involved in learning about the historical context of the religion as well as understanding how Jewish people worship their God in a synagogue.
They were shown artefacts that belonged in the synagogue and discussed how important they are to the Jewish community.
