Every year, children are encouraged to participate in the Newham place of worship competition.
In order to enter the competition, children must design a 3D model, sculpture, artwork or poetry based on a place of worship or a school visitor that they have had the opportunity to learn from. During this process, children recalled lessons from a church, a mosque, a synagogue or a buddhist temple visit.
Their reflection on their learning has been shown in a creative way. All entries were sent to the RE lead on Friday 6th May 2022. Best of luck to all students who participated in this competition.
