Poetry inspired by ‘Kensuke’s Kingdom
Year 4 started the year by inventing beautiful descriptive phrases, which they then joined to create their own poetry. Poetry is a fantastic tool for stimulating children’s imaginations and stimulating their writing skills. Additionally, it served as a hook for ‘Kensuke’s Kingdom’, our main text and children performed the poems in groups.
